We are a mortgage lender that is obtaining mortgage lending licenses in most states. Are signs that indicate our office locations considered advertisments? Do you need to display any typical required disclosures just for these signs? For example do you need to list your license number or the fact that you are licensed in certain states on these signs?

Are you talking about the signs that are directly outside of a location, marking the office space? We do not currently require disclosures on office-identifier signs,but do require them on everything else.

If the signs you are talking about are off-site and list all locations, I think yes, they will be considered advertisements and must include all necessary information.
