Man apologizes while robbing Fort Worth bank

FORT WORTH -- Fort Worth police are looking for a polite crook who apologized Thursday while robbing a bank.

Nobody was hurt in the holdup at a branch of Frost Bank.

Lieutenant Jesse Hernandez says a man wearing a ball cap, white shirt and blue jeans entered the bank and used the bathroom.

Then the suspect -- who's believed to be about 25 -- approached a teller and pulled a gun.

Hernandez says the robber said something like " I don't mean to be rude, but I am robbing you."

The teller put some cash in a trash bag and gave it to the suspect.

Hernandez says the robber excused himself again -- saying he didn't mean to be rude -- and ran out.

hmmm....
"Not to sound rude, but you have the right to remain silent...."

I am no Emily Post but I find putting a gun at someone pretty rude!!!!

No apologies necessary, throw him in the joint!

I think I've heard of this recently.....sounds too familiar. I wonder if they got him?

Well, of course you Texans should apologize while putting him away. One good turn deserves another right. You can smile while you do it too.
