Around that same time - 1989 or 1990 we saw Billy Joel in Greensboro, NC. That would be my nominee as well.

Ramones, but I can't necessarily think of one particular show that was better than the others. Maybe one of the ones at Toad's in New Haven.

NM's Edgefest 2003... When Trapt played Headstrong, the crowd went crazy. I've never seen so many topless girls in my life.

I have a top 5:

1) U2 1987 Franklin Field, Philadelphia (Bono had a broken arm and Bruce Springsteen came out and played guitar for him)
2) David Bowie, Glass Spider Tour 1987 with Peter Frampton, Tommy Conwell & Squeeze at the Vet
3) Genesis in Concert at the Spectrum it was 1988 or so
4) The Eagles "Hell freezes over Tour" Dallas, Texas 2001
5) Metallica at the Stone Balloon in Newark, De July 1989

As you can tell, my concert heyday was the late 80s early 90s.

Honorable Mention: My mother said she took me to Woodstock in 1969...I was a month old. Take it or leave it. It would explain my love of music though...

I am SOOO jealous!!!

My best was U2, October 1987 in Lexington, KY (Joshua Tree tour). Nothing I attended before or since has equaled that.

I too saw Chicago (early 80's)... so don't feel old alone... I'm racking my brain to think of who I saw them with, but due to advanced age, I can't remember... HELP! (it was someone really good from similar genre)

Eagles farewell l
Cher (the one before the final)
