How Smart is Your Right Foot?

This is so weird. And you will keep trying at least 50 more times to see if you can outsmart your foot, but you can't.

1. While sitting at your desk, lift your right foot off the floor and make clockwise circles.

2. Now, while doing this, draw the number "6" in the
air with your right hand.

Your foot will change direction.

I told you so .....And there's nothing you can do about it.
And some of us thought we were so coordinated!!!!

My right foot seems to be much more of a follower than a leader. I find this a bit disturbing considering its job!

So what part of the brain causes you to do that? It is very weird and very hard to outsmart.

This is a real kick to the groin, finding out that my right foot is way smarter than me.

it's still a kick in the groin despite all the things your wife says are smarter than you? (please see Nic Cage thread for some examples like a chair or a rock, etc.)

Your guess is as good as mine
I told my right foot to do this trick, but it's not listening to me.

The same side of your brain is trying to do both actions. Move your foot in one direction, and move your hand in the opposite direction.

You should be able to do it if you use your left foot, and your right hand (or vice versa)

that's like the old trick of trying to rub your stomach and pat your head....go ahead....you know you want to try it.

or what about moving your right finger in a circular motion away from you and the left hand in a circular motion towards you.

Or how about simply tying your own shoes. I hate that! I hate having to wear velcro!

mine didn't change directions. Does that mean there is something wrong with me or is my right foot just really independent?

Your foot is a rebel and wont take $hit from your brain anymore

My friend just sent me a website to waste time!

It seems to me that it's more like a virtual acid trip.

Sorry to disappoint but I was able to conquer my right foot on the second try.

I can also do the tummy rub/head pat combo.

Maybe it has something to do with my being left-handed?????
