You know why Columbus doesn't have a pro football team? If they did, then you know Cleveland and Cincinnati would want one too!

Barring injuries, this could be a break-out year for the Forty Niners!! Maybe the most improved team in the NFL.

Naw, Detroit is going to be the most improved. All they have to do to double their success rate is win 6 games, and I think they win 8-9 this year, despite Matt Millen at the helm.

Many have said so, but on what is this opinion based? Smith and Gore alone?

I'm really not being sarcastic. What am I missing that others see?

In terms of games won/lost, you're probably correct. I was speaking in terms of new players added to the Niners roster. But six wins for Detroit maybe difficult. And why is Millen still there? He should have been gone a long time ago.

A pretty good defense.

As far as them being the most improved. I just watched SportsCenter and they said that SF won 2 games, 5 games and 7 games over the last few years (I think that's right). They are definitely on the rise and look to add to it. They'll win 7-9 games this year, but I don't see them making the playoffs, though they should contend.

BTW, Go Broncos!!

The Colts put on a show last night. I loved it after the game where some announcers on ESPN who have picked the Saints to go to the Super and the Colts no even getting to the conference championship game were back trackting quickly. The Colts showed that they are still a very good team.

I was amazed by the Colts defense and how they held the league's #1 offense to 3 pts.

I was suprised the Saints didn't do more...

It just might be me getting older, but do we need all the pregame BS?

this game will have less to do about Rex then it will about Tommie Harris. If he's healthy, then those front four will be able to slow down LT. The secondary is fast, and I don't need to mention the linebackers, but if the Bears can't slow down LT up front, it's going to be a long game.

This game is my pick for the Super Bowl preview.
