Ok, I am usually torn. Dad was a soldier, and one of my very closest pals and a number of acquaintances are soldiers, and a few marines. Many of my uncles were sailors during WW2, and two other friends, one my bartender, were sailors.
Now, a very dear friend and colleague just passed away who was a PB River Rat during Viet Nam.
I think, in honor of him, this year I pull for Navy. Some years I pull for Army, and most years I just observe.
Now, all BOLers that are vets or have family, or just love the game, chime in!!!

I was in the Army myself, so I pull for Army. A few years ago I finally got to go to this game with a friend who was a West Point grad and whose son was currently attending West Point. It was a very fun experience, but Army lost, so it was disappointing from that standpoint.
Having also gone to a military college (The Citadel) myself, I can identify with many of the traditions and they have a lot of meaning. I love how in the end both teams and both schools entire student bodies rise in mutual respect for the playing of each school's alma mater. It always sends shivers down my spine. I admire all of these young men and women for their courageous and sacrificial service to our country.

My FIL is USNA '54, so there is no doubt who I will be rooting for.
These young people give up at least five years of their lives in return for the best education money can buy. It's worth every penny you and I pay for it. Every one of those kids who makes it to their commissioning ceremony is a hero.
GO NAVY!!!! BEAT ARMY!!!!!!

My dad was a Marine in WWII, and he made sure we were all Navy fans. I used to love walking around Center City Philadelphia the weekend of the game, especially when I was in that 16-22 year old age range. Lots of cute guys in uniform! :-)

Nah I was just trying to cause trouble, as usual. The Air Force has a way better team than either of them!!!

The Air Force has a way better team than either of them!!! At a minimum Air Force has always benefitted from having a decent conference affiliation. My father and I both spent time in the Army. So, I'll be rooting for the Cadets to beat the Squids.
