Child neglect and endangerment. As for not removing the other children, I would charge the State/responsible government agency with neglect for not removing the other children from their parents' care.

Interesting that the article says they don't belong to any organized religion. Usually when these stories come up, they're about Jehovah's Witnesses.

This is not the first time parents have neglected their children based upon misunderstandings in applying their faith. It is no less tragic in this case than it has been in the past.

A guy I went to high school with died about 6 years after graduation. He was a diabetic and his mother would not get him treatment.

as the story goes, the parents hadn't taken their daugther to a doctor since age 3. The 911 call was horrific that's only after some other relative intervened for the girl.

Well God does answer prayers but you also have to do your part and the answer to prayers comes many different ways.

Shame on those parents that watched their daughter each day slip further and further into sickness and pain and finally into a coma and then death.

i was wondering the same thing, pooh. presumably he would have had a job and benefits. unless there were other things wrong with him that would have prevented that.
