Buy 1, get 3 free? Just goes to show us how much we're being gouged by clothing manufacturers. It's almost as bad as furniture and musical instruments.

is it only on the suits that are $750 and up?

my corporate coupons and savings tickets expired yesterday and those were only $300 off on Selected Signature Suits.

nope! all suits. i ended up getting the "executive" line which was $550. i had 3 "signature" suits lined up (the $795 suit) but i decided that i could use the extra $250 for shoes. i am really happy with the ones that i got. 10 fewer thread count than the signature suits. no biggie imo.

There may be a style change coming with this fall's fashions i.e. thin lapel to wide lapel, single to double breasted, etc so they may be trying to sell off old styles to make room for new inventory.

Common practice, although we used to do it in July/August and have our fall line in stock by now. I worked men's fashion retail to pay my way through college.

i think that this is actually a genuine concern so i appreciate it. well, some of the recruiters got wiped of the map recently but there are still places in that line of work that recruit. also, the consultancies are still recruiting and i have some interviews lined up there to make sure that i do have some place to wear my newest suits other than my pizza route.

I know what you are going through. I graduated law school during the post Iraq I war crash. The laws firm I did my summer associateship with folded and I was stuck scrambling with no other big firms willing to touch me. Wound up at a smaller firm making much less money than I would have otherwise.

Good luck.

Now, if they do have leisure suits, I'm totally up for that.

And Ron: Have any BOLers met you in person who can support your statement about being likable?

Do these suits still have bodies in them? If so it might depreciate the price a little.
