I was really glad to hear this, I would have been freaking out if he were my husband.

I must give KUDOS to the POTUS for authorizing force. I was fearful he wouldn't have it in him. I was really pleased to see this end with the safe return of the captain.

We hollered with delight! It was terribly frustrating to wait, and wait, until the last night (Gulf of Aden time) for that successful mission to occur. Kudos to all involved, and may POTUS follow Thomas Jefferson's model of acting against the Barbary pirates to wipe out this threat. Seems like the fledgling official government of Somalia wouldn't mind.... On a lighter note, some pics that have been circulating on the Internet since last fall, under the headline (sorry about the all caps) "THANK GOD THEY CAN STILL MAINTAIN THEIR SENSE OF HUMOR OVER THERE!": http://www.moaa-hawaii.org/military_humor2.htm
