That manages to hit the corners of their desk almost every time they have to go around it? I swear I think I'm going to end up with blood clots where my two permenant bruises are from catching the corners of my desk constantly. eek

Thank I can claim them as a work related injury? laugh

Not my desk, but I'm constantly running into walls here. And door jambs. And chairs. I'm remarkably uncoordinated and believe it takes quite a skill to be as "graceful" as I am.

To answer your question, yes your injuries are work related. Have you experienced fatigue, feelings of anxiousness or stress as a result of these injuries? You may qualify for long term disability.

YES! I ran into the corner of my desk week before last and actually cut my leg. I was black and blue for days. I'm really bad about doing that since I always open that drawer and use it as a side-table when I'm working. My darn desk is too small. I blamed it on the bank Prez since I was trying to get into my office to answer his phone call! laugh

I used to have one of the L desks that had the little cutting board looking pullout for extra work space. I would catch my hips and lower ribs on that stupid thing all the time.

out of the frying pan...
I run into the corner of my desk all the time. I'm even worse about catching my hip on the corners of the footboard on our bed or the kitchen table, and about stubbing my toes on the legs of the coffee table. There are days that I'm just one big walking bruise.

Actually, I added to my bruise collection this morning by running into a drawer I left open.

^^^^Must be a "hippie" laugh

At a previous bank, I was walking to my cube and hit my arm on the metal trim on one of the cubicle walls and chipped the face on a brand new watch. Fortunately it was a cheap watch but unfortunately it was too cheap to make it worth getting it fixed.

It wasn't even that nice. I bought it at The Watch Man in Laughlin, NV.

But I still have my clear Swatch from high school. ::nerd emoticon::

I thought I was the only one that did this, too. lol The bigger the obstacle, the better. There is a big plant right outside my office to the left and whenever I am going in that direction, I ALWAYS manage to hit it. It will be all over the floor one of these days.

The bank just bought a lifesize fiberglass bear and it is placed in the lobby right off the teller line. I just know I am going to start running into that now too.
