The air was a little cleaner, lighter and easier to breathe last night as the Dallas Cowboys beat the Cincinatti Bengals in the Hall of Fame game, the first preseason game.

I don't have a lot invested in either team and I was busy during the vast majority of the game, so I didn't see a whole lot of it, but I knew it was on...and that was enough.

I missed football.

I know what ya mean. While I didn't watch much of the game, that first whistle blow was enough to make me giddy.

Yeah, football fever at all levels, HS, College, and NFL.

Was that an Aggie quarterbacking America's Team?

Sadly, I was more excited watching the flag football game from EA sports that came on before the preseason game. Nothing quite like watching a few guys fail to get in to a rhythm before watching a bunch of guys who won't even make the team play while the majority of starters ride the bench.... and it was even my team playing!

No, Cincy is not America's team. But then again, is Dallas? Or have they simply marketed themselves as such?

LOL...I guess I should have watched the game. The last I remember of Kitna, he was with Cincy (or was it Seattle...).

Trust me, Pup, you didn't miss a thing. Frankly, it's funny because normally this past weekend would have been an scrimmage without another team here in Cincinnati, but yet some fans are freaking out because we lost the extra pre-season game.
