Pulling people out of the ditc...
The MNF guys went on and on about the "throw to the ground" on "the greatest QB that has ever lived" and how "you may have just witnessed his last game ever played." NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell, speaking to the media today to address this travesty, has levied a $75,000 fine against Steelers linebacker James Harrison. When it was brought to the commissioners attention that the Steelers didn't play in the game, Goodell said that he was sure that Harrison did something wrong, so the fine would stand...

Just had to share this with my hubby and it made both of us laugh. Started him on a mini rampage again but for a minute gave him a chuckle.

Are you kidding me? The fine against someone not even in the game stands? Well, if Harrison needs to take up a collection, I'll contribute out of gratitude that we don't have to listen to another 'I'm retiring...no wait, I'm back....no, I'm really retiring this time' fiasco. All that carp tarnished all that Favre had going for him in the eyes of many Packer backers.

How badly hurt was he?

I liked the "He's old, cold, and in pain," comment. They're getting creative in that MNF booth...

So a rookie gets his first sack and effectivey ends the career of a legend. Sounds like a script written by Favre himself (remember Strahan's record-setting "sack" against Favre a few years back?

I think they put Farve in the game now just to pad the stats of rushers...

Now for the important question

Which team will Farve unretire/retire from?

Today he will not unretire and play for the Eagles.

I think he might be willing to play for any team, right now in any position... anything to get out of the house and out from Deana's thumb right now... and to keep up on his Verison data plan eek
