is it the movie or this statement
"but police tell Eyewitness News that each one has at least 30 prior arrests."
What ever the sentence was (or the crime)it should have been elevated for crime number 29

My hubby and I went to see it last Saturday. When the guy gave us our tickets, he said, you're in theater 9. I about freaked. We watched the exit door for the first 10 minutes of the movie....then the noisey 2 year old behind us distracted us by singing very loudly and kicking the back of my chair.....of course mom and dad didn't do anything. I'm not sure I even know what happened in the movie.  I'm not that nice. My kids were never allowed to do that, and I dont feel as though I or anyone else is required to put up with it. If I dont get to enjoy the movie neither will they. I do always ask nicely....once. Suprisingly, sometimes that's all it really takes. I think some of them arent really rude, just oblivious.

It is unfair for the child and the parents to think the world will put up with their carp. You would be doing them a disservice if you didnt send them all home in tears.

Yeah post of the month I constantly tell my wife that if I do not tell people that they are a useless pile of ... they may not know. I am doing them a favor by telling them.

Trust me, I wanted to turn around and slap the kid and the parents....but I was so angry I probably would've said something that would have gotten me and my hubby beat up and incarcerated.

Kid Wonder and I went Saturday afternoon and enjoyed the movie. Didn't think about the shooting as I think it was just a crazy guy and an isolated incident. Those other 4 that were arrested as "copycats" would not have been smart enough to think of this event had all the details not been spilled on TV.
There were 2 families with underage kids in the theater. One of the kids was making noise before the movie, I turned around and gave them "the look". No problems during the movie.

Maybe people are upset that the movie didn't live up to expectations and hype. Seems we and our friends were let down for many reasons. The Dark Knight was so much better and well thought out.

Oh Goodness, Dip, we'll have to disagree on that one. I thought The Dark Knight was too long and convoluted. The acting was great, but it needed to move more. I don't go to Comic book movies to think deep and serious thoughts - I go for sheer entertainment value.

If I want to be entertained, I just watch my 2 yr old yellow lab. Sorry,I don't do movies. They are overpriced and the food is obscenely overpriced. If I do go, I take a bag of peanuts and leave them all over the floor,just like at the ball game. bi-polar much?
