I just had a most interesting conversation with a young lady at a local deli...

Me: Hi, I'd like to order a sandwich tray for tomorrow, please.
Her: Oh, well, our manager has to approve those orders and she won't be in until 4:00 tomorrow morning.
Me: Oh, no problem. I'll just order several individual sandwiches.
Her: Okay, how many would you like to order?
Me: Can I please order ten? We're not picky, so any combination of meat, cheese, and bread is fine.
Her: Sure, we can do that. Since we cut them in half, we'll just put it on a big tray for you.
Me: Sounds great! Thank you!

Hmmm...guess I figured out how to get what I originally wanted!

I'll wait until to tomorrow to see if you actually get this done properly. But it is entertaining how this made sense in her mind.

We were at a restaurant last weekend, and the menu didn't really have anything that my son wanted. So we asked the waitress for the bar menu, hoping for some sandwiches or appetizers. She told us that they didn't have a bar menu. A few minutes later, the table next to us asked for the deck menu (the restaurant has an outdoor deck they use in the summer), which the waitress promptly retrieved. ?????

I received sandwiches cut into 1/4's and on a tray! I had to return the tray today though, since they have another party tray to make up tonight. Little weird, but it worked
