So for anyone who has been......
Do they have classes at night or just during the day? It starts on Friday. Is there anything on Saturday or Sunday or is that just on-my-own time.
I have already visited with Dip about meeting up.

Classes all day every day (even the weekend), usually until 5 or 6. The evenings are free.

If I would have skipped Sunday's classes last year, I would have missed Reg DD, FDIC Insurance, reg E, and Reg CC. Pretty exciting stuff.

I did the ABA school in January 2007, both deposit and lending portions. It was in Miama that time and the classes were all day, full time. They arranged to take us out in buses one night to South Beach and another night to a mall, but I think those were the only outings they arranged for us. I took an extra 3 days or so to stay in South Beach and make the trip extra worth while.

most banking schools have weekend classes...and most determine if you miss classes without prior approval, diplomas aren't awarded... I can't imagine choosing to miss a class when the bank has paid for me to attend.

I usually take at least ONE extra day when the bank sends me somewhere....usually can't take more than that since I have to pay for the accomodations myself. I have found, though, that many hotels will let you have the "seminar rate" if you come early or stay later.
