OK, is anyone else watching this series on A&E? Not sure how it falls under either Arts or Entertainment, but I can't seem to stop watching it!! Guilty pleasures....anyone else want to admit watching?

We caught the first epi. I was too disturbed to watch any more after that.

I've watched the first episodes - but not the one from Monday. We DVR'd it - but honestly it was so slow last week we may stop. Well, until the end it was slow.

I'm kind of liking "Hannibal" more...

I've only seen 2 episodes but would like to see more since American Horror Story was a let down. (I'm sick and twisted...like that's a big shocker around here)

totally surprised with the "revelation" from "mom" on the show this week! I guess Norman isnt the goodie-two-shoes we thought he was...

The first episode is not a good indication of the story line. Mom is wacko for sure, but the story is really more about the boys I think. I am also sick and twisted :-) which is why I like the show. I DVR it as well because I don't let my 11 year old watch it.

I agree on American Horror Story - It was a let down.

I've been watching this series from the start. I seem to like all the dark shows (The Following, Hannibal, Bates Motel, The Walking Dead ...). I keep waiting for Norman to 'accidentally' kill the popular girl or the girl with the oxygen tank. Isn't this season almost over?

If you read Red Dragon or saw the original movie based on it (Manhunter), Hannibal is using a lot from both of them.
Manhunter was much less known than Silence of the Lambs and Red Dragon, but was (I think) a much better movie.

I've read Red Dragon. It was an interesting book.

Harris must have had an "intersting" childhood or something...

I liked both the book and the movie.

I wonder the same with the girl with the oxygen mask. I also wonder when mommy dearest becomes a victim to get it in line with the original movie - or if that will happen. No idea how long the season is....but I am hooked.

I think Mommy is already a victim character. She keeps walking into trouble! without her poor choices the story would have ended by the second episode

So did the Asian girl that ran off into the woods get killed? I missed the ending.

There was no gunshot heard (we even rewinded it to check), and they never said, so I have no idea what happened to the girl. There is a new episode on Monday that I hope will tell - of course the cops will be there to collect the body of the other cop anyway....so they can search for the girl.
