Just curious as to what other people may have on their Lifetime To Do List, things you want to do at least once in this life or things you want to do when you retire.

Me--
Go to the College & Little League World Series
Attend a baseball game in every baseball park
Visit Hawaii & Alaska
Tour Europe

OK, that's a start, what about you guys?

Gee, only two things immediately pop into mind:
1. I want to go to Iceland and take a horseback riding trip across the island.
2. I want to retire to a tropical island.

I know that it's not all that cerebral, but neither am I.

The only thing that pops into my head is really silly. Some day I want to see the Grand Canyon. I figure for you that live out west it's probably not a big deal, but it's just something that I want to do.

All over the map.
I would love to open a Bed and Breakfast somewhere. (Not sure where, maybe South Carolina or Georgia) My husband is a great cook and he could handle that end.

fill my passport,

Bad news...they don't stamp the dang things in Europe anymore. I've been to sevral European countries...and have a stamp from Chicago to show for it

I wanted to go to Alaska...but I guess I accomplished that. I was thinking vacation...somehow I forgot to pick up the return flight tickets

I want to...write the CRA Bible and sell so many copies I can buy my sweetie a floating condo (this is what he calls really lovely boats)

Clean up my Star Wars book and have it published

I still need to go to Ireland for a pub crawl

Scotland for a pub crawl

Denmark to sober up

Get married to the man I buy a boat for

and then there are today's special dreams...

Run over an IT tech...not more than twice

and beat the heck out of the HMDA data entry person I just found out was entering race/sex and income information for businesses!

(I may realize the second of those in a few mins...)

Here--you can use my Hit Monkey and if that isn't big enough, he has another being delivered as we speak.

Of course I am not so shallow that my list is to just see the Cubs win, but the rest of the list is either too personal or too illicit to publish

I'm on my way downstairs to deliver the monkey hit...and grab a diet Pepsi One dream realized!!! (and thirst quenched at the same time...wow! it's a two for one dream I guess)

Today's my Friday (computer wise). I'm flying off to Fairbanks and North Pole (if it's anyone's dream to go to Fairbanks, I'll send a pic and save you about $10,000 bucks and a heck of a disappointment).

The northern lights are pretty awesome. I've flown through a fabulous show as well as seen them from the ground numerous times and each time it's awe inspiring. The only sight to rival them was when I saw several hundred bald eagles in Homer Alaska a couple years ago. They were so close I could reach out and touch them (If I didn't have a brain and didn't value my hand). All those eagles on a snow filled landscape are pretty amazing. That experience will definitely make it into my "Dawnie Went To Alaska" memoirs.

It would have to be a bestseller and allow me to retire - In think my banking career could end {although it would all be fiction}

DON'T START!!! this is a highly addictive activity. I made one at Christmas for a gift for the sweetie and now I have nine going. I'm throwing out the ball gowns and antique costumes and making the costume room into a sewing room and had to trade up my cheese wiz Walmart sewing machine for a $2,400 gem named Ellie. I have fabric stacked in pile and piles and piles....ARGGGG Like I said...don't do it!

I really want to do one for each kid. All those years of soccer and baseball and camps--they saved their shirts and I would like to work those in. Talk about memories!!

SoccerMom... All those baseball "to do" items and not one soccer item? Although, if you are like me, my kids' games rival any pro game out there...

My list (not necessarily in order of importance):

1. Take the kids on a road trip to the East Coast (Call me crazy!)
2. Read all the books I have purchased
3. Buy a classic muscle car
4. Get rid of all the junk I've accrued
5. Travel European countries
6. Hit the $1000 spin on the Wheel of Fortune slot machine in Vegas (I KNOW it can be done... a friend hit it twice while sitting right next to me!)
