Somewhere in the middle
I haven't watched any of these races this year, but it would be cool to have new triple crown winner.

We are looking forward to watching the race tomorrow. My father in law passed away unexpectedly at the end of March. He raised and sold quarter horses in his "retirement" but as a young man, before he and my mother in law had children, they used to raise and train race horses. The year he was born, War Admiral won the Triple Crown. My husband is hoping for another Triple Crown winner this year since Dad loved horses and horse racing so much.

well, I won't be watching it, but I hope that it happens BB so you can smile and look toward the heavens and say "here you go, dad"

What a way to bookend a lifetime of loving horses! That would be very sweet (aside from the fact that it would be so cool just to HAVE another TC winner!)

OOOOOOklahoma
I didn't watch the festivities leading up to the race but happened to be at a restaurant that had the race on TV. It was very exciting to see a Triple Crown winner. Nobody was even close to him.
And what a fitting tribute to your FIL Busy Bee!
