Has anyone been watching Sleepy Hollow? It had gone downhill; however we continued to watch. The season (and possibly series) finale on Friday was dismal. I believe even if they do have a season 4 we will not watch it.

I started with it, but it kept getting too far fetched, so we stopped.

Running and riding everywhere ...
I quit before this season started. Sounds like I'm not missing much.

yeah, because a show based on a headless horseman in itself is not far fetched, but have a guy transported from 2 centuries ago to present time to battle said headless horseman is far fetched... eek

out of the frying pan...
I've always liked the Legend of Sleepy Hollow in all of its incarnations (movie, book, cartoon, etc.) and really enjoyed the first couple seasons of this show, but then it just went downhill. Laughable, even. When it got to the point that the hubby and I were heckling the screen, we quit watching.

And in keeping with today's culture of muscle worship, I suppose the guy who was transported forward was named "Ripped" Van Winkle? :-)

Well, we have missed this whole season and were going to binge watch to catch up, but based on the above I don't think we will bother. Thanks for the heads up.

I caught a little bit of the last episode. They are all in a grave yard fighting some kind of spirit. The headless horse man is approaching the spirit, when Ichabod yells, "Hey horse man" and he turns towards Ichabod.

Ichabob then tosses him a weapon, of which the horseman catches it and kills the spirit.

Questions;

1. If the horseman is headless, how did he hear Ichabod yell?
2. If the horseman is headless, how did he see to catch the weapon?

confused crazy

I liked the Sleepy Hollow movie with Johnny Depp in it. Of course Christopher Walken is one of my favorite actors so anything he is in I'm bound to like.

Perhaps not but so let me say I like any movie that Christopher Walken is in. I wonder if we will ever know the whole true story about what happened that night to her.
