Baby, I'm a star! My chihuahua nd I were on the news yesterday for the National Chihuahua races finals! We were interviewed on live tv and they showed a few clips of my dog racing. I saw it on local San Diego news, but was wondering if anyone else saw clips on the event?

Unfortunately, my girl didn't win. she was in the finals and then came in second because some crazed owner scared her just befoe the finish line by reching her hands out and flailing them as she tried to coax her dog over. Stupid head...my dog was goign to win! She was the favorite of the newscrews and Petco staff! Ohwell, there's always next year!!!

This just sounds way too funny. Did they have different divisions like: Soon to be food division (winner gets to live); Self-hating Division (Paris Hilton-ized dogs); Mascot Division (Taco Bell actors and 'doggy' doubles)

no, but some did come in costumes. mine wore a red sweatshirt since it was cold in the morning. i wore my red sweartshirt too. we were cute, so that rpobably helped get us on camera.

Gosh darn it I missed the Chihuahua races again! Every year I plan and plan to catch them...but they just race right by me....

Saw it on KCAL ch.9 about an hour ago - but no interviews - just saw the doggies runnin'.

oh, well my dog is black and white, and she was wearing a red sweatshirt part of the time. was only one other dog there that looked liek her. i'll just pretend that you saw her and thought she was cool
