Are you implying that they're profiling?
If so, I am all for it, but that's another thread.
However, to answer your question, I think, they stated on the radio that since they found out something like 4 or more of the 9-11 hijackers were here on student visas, that they are tracking these individuals much closer than they used to.
I, for one, am glad they are at least aware of these missing individuals.

If eleven Kappa Alphas got drunk during Rush Week last weekend and did not show up for class on Monday, would the FBI issue an alert that eleven Greeks did not show up at their school?
I think not. The Egyptians are being racially profiled. Where, oh where, is the ACLU?

Is this serious? If not, ok, but if yes: So, we cannot use information we learned from 9-11 regarding the hijackers to identify and potentially stop future terrorists from attacking us?

correct, we are not allowed to profile to stop terrorist attacks, only to complain about it after the fact. you may than that nutjobs in the ACLU for that one...(wow, nutjobs is used in 2 different threads in one day...is that a BOL record?)

It would appear that the Bangles are quite knowledgeable. Their lyrics are inspiring and informative.
I propose that we look to the Bangles for guidance on any and all issues.
Now, if I could only remember another song they released.
