Anyone ready to buy a Hybrid???

I know I'm probably in a lucky state, but it's still hard to swallow paying $3 a gallon for gas.

DH and I are going home to see family this weekend, and thought of cancelling because I can't afford the tank of gas to get there.

Eat at White Castle -- for about $7.00 you'll get enough gas to last you all day.

I get really excited when I see a station with gas at $3.15 a gallon, that's a bargin here right now. Most are $3.19 to $3.22. Now that's sad when $3.15 seems like a good thing

What's really sad is I remember in college going to this one place because they usually had $0.99 gas and I wasn't about to spend more than a dollar a gallon. Now it takes about $40.00 to fill the tank.

That certainly is BOL's favorite child, Natalie in MOPNB's avatar. If you haven't gone to her site and seen just how cute a kid can be, go now brown cow!

I think I heard that CNG - compressed natural gas - is much cheaper. Anybody know anything about whether a fuel system has to be adapted, or how readily available CNG is?

I looked at your website for her last night, and I have to say she is the cutest baby I have ever seen. She has a smile that would make you want to give her the world. Lucky parents...

I remember those days, I only needed two bucks for gas and $20 for the bar.

If they ever figure out how to connect it to some people's butts their cars will run out of the tires before they run out of fuel.

I worked in a gas station in 1969, and we sold gas for 23 cents per gallon. Now, we're paying $3.20 on the SF Peninsula. It's insane, but, after living through the gas lines in 1973, during the Arab Oil Embargo, I don't mind too much.
