Well, the 2007 season official ends Nov. 30. There were 9 less storms than predicted due to cooler than expected water temperatures and wind shear. This is the 2nd consecutive year that water temperatures were lower than predicted. How is this possible? Surely, by now, we all that that gloabl warming is creating havoc and we should be in full-blown panic mode. Could it be that Al really is wrong, and that global warming has been blown out of proportion? Naaaaa, that couldn't be true...

It must be because the ice cap is melting causing the water tempatures to be lower. It can't be because Al was wrong. Just because water levels haven't risen as a result of the melting ice cap doesn't mean a thing.

It is probably evaporating as quickly as it is melting...

Don't mess with Mother Nature! Three years ago, we were panicking because there were too many hurricanes. Don't complain because we got a reprieve this year.

A tropical storm would be nice!

It would have been really nice to have the rain this year to end our drought.

I'm just glad I can come up from the basement now and get on with my life!
