Way, way south.
Anyone here watching the X Factor?

We caught it a couple times this week for a bit. Didn't seem too bad as I do like the various ages instead of just one age group.

The train wrecks aren't as quite as amusing for some reason, maybe it's because they are in front of a rather large audience, not sure.

A couple interesting characters last night.

I watched a little last ngiht. I caught the black kid who rapped abotu his mom--too funny! Did he write that song himself? I didn't catch hsi introduction.

I didn't mean to watch the whoel thing but it was good after good after good and next thing I know it was 10:00pm. LOVED Jazzlyn. I thought she'd choke during her performance but OMG she was amazing. I teared up <--- how embarassing

What did you think of that one 26 yo guy who was fairly conceited? He actually did sing very well, and wrote that song, so you had to give him props for that.

That one African American fella who was 59 looked ridiculously young, lol.

Black don't crack...just sayin'. And yes, I liked him smile

Simon had a point with that model guy...why hasn't he "made it" yet? But he was very good and seemingly talented. Nice work on his part.

I agree that Ausem just wasn't good enough. They should not have been put through.

MB-the guy from Memphis or Nashville? He was good looking and had a surprisingly good voice - I think with the proper mentoring he could really do well. When he said he was going to sing a song he wrote, I thought 'oh no, the kiss of death!' But it was very good.

I liked Jazzlyn, and there were 2 or 3 last week that were amazing singers.

I can't wait until we get to the real competition. Even with X Factor, I think the auditions are kind of boring.

I tried to resist watching it because I just don't like Paula, but my husband was watching and the talent was really good. I liked the guy from Wednesday night that sang "At Last". Simon wasn't expecting much, but he blew them all away. Loved his voice.

Bones, do you think Paula is better on thsi show? She seems liek she's cleaned herself up a bit (read: sobered up!).

The show was on Wednesday?? I missed that one.

dip, I was just saying the same thing about Paula. She is not the loopy airhead that she was a couple of years ago. I think she quit the prescription meds ( and maybe other stuff too).

Did anyone watch last night? Most of the talent is pretty good. Rachel Crowe just blew them away last night, though. Very impressive voice from such a young girl. Josh Kracjek is also one of my favorites so far.

I love Rachel and Astro. My mom says she can't pick up Astro's lyrics but I can and the kid is amazing. Clever, witty, smart...what I liek about Eminem but without the disgusting stuff.

Rachel cracks me up because her speakign voice is a total mismatch with her singing voice laugh

I also really liek Leroy and Chris.

I agree - Rachel and Josh are really good. I'm tired of Stacy, the groups just aren't very good, and Leroy has to take off that stupid knit hat. I also like the girl who sang Man in the Mirror and the young black dude (not the rapper) - can't think of his name.

Listen harder smirk laugh

A lot of what rap is are the lyrics and the flow. Part of his lyric last ngiht said somethign about his pancreas cant make insulin (he said it way better though)...just so clever hwo he spaeks abotu life and what he has goign on and wraps it all up in this neat, fast spoken yet rhythmic package.

I'm not an Astro fan either, but I do like Chris. Leroy sounds too much like Michael Bolton, I don't think he will be around too long. I agree about the groups, don't really like any of them that much.
