Skittles 10K Club Joined: Sep 2002 Posts: 13,965 TN	My husband and I found out today that they have recalled Milo's Homemade Dog Snacks (specific ones) and Waggin' Tails dog snacks (I think all of them). Well, we give our dogs duck jerky Waggin' Tails dog treats. Our 14 year old basenji isn't acting right and we have noticed that for awhile. She drinks more water and whines a lot now and we didn't know why. In reading the symptoms (over 500 dogs have died from these treats) it's excessive thirst, possible kidney failure, and upset stomach. Obviously we're tossing the treats when we get home today and going to give her Pepcid for a couple of days to see if she feels better. I hope so and that her kidneys haven't been damaged. This is an FYI to those of you with dogs. _________________________ My Opinions Only

We have been buying USA only stuff now. It's pricey, but less expensive than vet medical bills. I told my husband that I think I'm going to start baking homemade dog treats. I have a couple of recipes, but not the proper ingredients. My dog has been throwing up, not eating, and acting REALLY bizarre lately, now I will have to run home and check...but I think all his are Milk Bone brand.
