Yay! Glad SYTYCD is back! (Does it feel a little early to anyone else??)

Of last night's auditions, I liked the knee girl. Although I think they should have put her straight through to Vegas. She was pretty darn good considering she said she'd only been dancing for a couple of months and then dislocating her knee. I hope she heals up and does well in Vegas.

I didn't like the blonde they featured at the beginning very much. I'm not a contemporary fan anyway (all that emo flailing around on the floor, bleh), but she didn't seem to have much sparkle / energy. Maybe she'll perk up in Vegas. (Or get cut.)

My wife shreiked when they showed her dislocating her knee. Sounded pretty grusome from the other room.

We all cringed. The added sound effects did not help.

I'm so glad I wasn't watching. I dislocated my kneecap once.

I'll be watching starting next week - I hope they don't continually re-run that segment.

Boo, tonight's auditions episode was pre-empted here for weather.

I love this show, but I hate the auditions. You see some good dancing, BUT, people you fall in love with never make it to the show.

I am glad to see it back on. I am even happier that they didn't focus on tons of ridiculously bad dancers who thought they should have been sent to Vegas... Those audition shows were drama-filled and dance-light episodes for the first few years!

Tonight Mary Murphy is channeling Shirley Temple.

That hairdo was very 80s and HIDEOUS!
