We have an examiner that wants us to update our BSA Manual to include policies and procedures regarding National Security Letters. Does anyone have experience in handling these or any suggestions for policies and procedures?

Our policy is that we will comply with whatever we have to do. Probably won't be sufficient, huh?

Thanks.

Where the heart is
You might want to designate a person to whom a National Security Letter would be directed - typically the BSA Officer or Legal Counsel.

Then state the designated person is to respond appropriately to the National Security Letter.

I can't think of much else.

I was able to pull some very useful info out of the new BSA/AML Exam Manual.
