The general consensus around here is that she is just crazy but not really doing anything wrong...?

A lot of people did things like that during Y2K. I agree that your customer is not very bright.

I know of a bank that was cited by the FDIC for not filing a SAR when a customer claimed he had a large amount of cash in his box. The bank's boxes had been broked into (professional job) and the customer was filing a claim asserting that he had $450,000 in the box.
