Payee - John Doe
Remitter - ABC Company - (customer)
Purchaser - Jane Doe - (customer)

or with the following scenario?:

Payee - ABC Company
Remitter - Jane Doe (customer) & John Doe (non-customer/not present at purchase)
Purchaser - Jane Doe (customer - present at transaction)

Bank policy on remitter is totally up to the bank.

In both cases, Jane is the purchaser for recordkeeping purposes.
