Am considering a customer for CTR exemption due to the amount of CTRs filed on a weekly basis. The customer has had a SAR filed on them in the last year. Is there a time period before I can make them exempt?

No, there's no law or regulation that directs you on what to do in this circumstance. Any reviewer will probably look at the reason for filing the SAR and see if exemption would impair your ability to monitor the customer for that or similar activity.
