While this question is dependent on the specific requirements of the job which I understand would vary by institution, I figured it was still worthwhile to ask without getting overly specific.
Aside from the CAMS, what certifications have others found to be useful/relevant in the role of a BSA Officer or the BSA function in general? In a constant effort to learn and grow I'm looking for my next "adventure" and figured this was the best place to get some good feedback.
I'm considering the CRCM and CFE certifications as the CRCM would help gain a better understanding of banking regulations and therefore assist in the identification of the way they can be abused; and the CFE would assist in the detection & prevention of fraud. Didn't know if there was anything else out there that might be a better fit or that others have found to be beneficial.
Any feedback is more than appreciated!
