Hey everyone,

I'm a BSA/AML analyst and I'm looking to help develop a training program within our company and I'm curious how many credit hours your companies require of analysts/investigators to keep up? We were considering going with 20 hours like ACAMS and CFE, but after doing some research that seems high (different state bars range from 8 to 15 per year). It seems 12 to 15 credits seems to be the sweet spot, but I'm curious what your companies require.

Any help would be appreciated!

We don't require it by hours. We require one (1) ACAMS webinar per quarter along with any in person training done by the Head of the Department and the annual training required for all personnel.

We require annual training for everyone, but I have to have 20 Hours over a two year span to keep my certification.

Thanks for the reply!

What certification are you maintaining? I know CFE and ACAMS are 20/year, but which cert is 20 every 2 years?

I have My ICBA Certified BSA/AML Professional certification. It is not 15 hours, but changing to 20 in 2019.
