I have to file a CTR for a customer who closed an account and was issued an official bank check. A few days later she returned with the check and wanted cash. The check was cashed from our official check general ledger. For the CTR, would Iist the original account number from the closed account?

I would not show the closed account number as being involved in the transaction. It would just be an official check cashed.

So leave the account number blank?

You could put the account number that your official checks run through.
