We have a newly appointed Board Member.

All New Employees of the bank must have BSA Training w/in 30 days of their employment (according to our policy)

Should I use the same tactic with a New Board Member? Or can he wait until the Annual Board Training?

I would certainly have him sign for some BSA reading/training material if you decide to wait until annual training. Give him a head start.

How long ago was your Annual Board Training? If it was recent, maybe you can just copy the handout and be sure he gets it. I have even sent DVD's home with the Directors that may have missed a training session (fortunately we have a very cooperative Board!).
