At what point(s) do you guys check OFAC on a loan application process. Do you check it when the app is taken and time of closing, or just at closing?

At the time the applicant presents the application. It would look really bad if an OFAC scan ran minutes before a closing is scheduled produced a positive match. smile

I would suggest at the time of application, whenever the OFAC list is updated, and prior to closing.

At application and pre-funding.

We get it when the credit is ran via Kroll, (credit is ran when we get the app). Also we do it at time of funding. I was asked if we had any other options my answer was no but wanted to see what others were doing. Thanks!
