A business customer reports to the bank their office manager wrote fraudulent checks on their bank account. The office manager was not a customer of the bank. The case was reported to police, investigated, and the office manager quickly pled guilty.

If the amount of the forgeries is over $5000 is it an automatic SAR filing?

I assume you mean that the office manager was not an authorized signer on the account. We would file a SAR in this situation.

Correct, the office manager was not an authorized signer on the account.

Thanks
