Does anyone have a sample letter requesting updated documents from a non-US Citizen to prove legal status? How do you typically handle situations like this?

We have a large area of risk and have had several large losses due illegal aliens and have even had to deal with law enforcement on occasion for losses due to individuals over-staying their visas. We have a lot of loans for non-US citizens. We've since decided to mitigate risk and have CDD covered by confirming our customer's legal status. We don't lend past legal expiration of visas and try to ensure that updated information is on record in the event of new loan applications.
