Hello all, I have a subpoena request for financial documentation as a result of an incident I filed with FinCEN. It is a Grand Jury subpoena request for a customer of my bank that I didn't realize was involved in the activity from the original filing. My question is, do I need to file a SAR on this newly pointed out person and activity from the grand Jury subpoena request or will their request and subsequent financial information submitted be enough.

Thank you in advance.

I open investigations as a result of grand jury subpoenas if I had not conducted one. I would file a SAR if the activity noted from that investigation is suspicious. A subpoena does not mean someone is guilty, just keep that mind. Do the investigation, conduct your own research, report it if suspicious.
