If you have a small business (for CRA) loan with a maturity date of 11/15/03 for example, and you don't get around to getting the renewal docs processed and signed until 1/10/04, but date all the renewal docs 11/15/03, what are the implications for CRA data reporting? Do you report it in 2003 or 2004?

The action date on our system must be the renewal date of 11/15 (in your example)so that interest is calculated correctly and we have the correct maturity date. So we report these types of transactions in 2003, not 2004.
