Is anyone aware of changes to Section 42 of the FDI Act affecting notice and other requirements for branch closings? I heard there were notification requirements, but I'm not seeing it on the FDIC website (FDIC/FDIC Law, Regulations, Related Acts/Section 5000 Statements of Policy). I only heard "recent", but at this point, I would take anything in the past couple of years.

Can anyone help?

That should say that I heard there were "new" notification requirements.

You need to ask the source from where you "heard" this information, as I have not seen anything.
