Congrats to Elena for sticking with her resolution - our insitution just got hit this past week. A dear, dear lady - Sr Officer, given the "You have xx months" - we are all in shock - please think of her during this time, and us also - that we say/do the right thing.

I will be thinking of all of you at this time. How horrible.

I can't imagine what it would be like to be told that I only had XX months to live..........I do pray for all of you, but I know that God provides an inner strength for this lady and for those around her..... Knowing something like that (though I would want to know) is awful and it will require the help only He can give.

Tex, keep up the positive thoughts for your friend. We have a lender here who was diagnosed with just a few months a few months before I started. Though he's still ill, he's alive and kicking up a storm. Here at the office every day. Mirracles do happen!

Tex...I heard something last night I wanted to add to this thread. Our dear person who is ill was again given just a few months to live recently and told that no surgery or other interventions would work now. This seemed to be it. He went in again and they decided to do a surgicigal procedure on his lungs and he was just upped to 4 to 7 years While that may seem short to you and me, it shows there is hope for all! We truly thought he wasn't going to overcome this bout but it appears he's pulled through yet again.

Have hope for the best!
