Hey my Friends,
I would like to ask if you guys would please remember my family in your thoughts and prayers. It seems like it's just been one problem after another heaped upon the pile and it came to a giant...well explosion at 1 am Monday Morning.

Sombody "supposedly" put a bomb in my brothers van that he had left over at his home next to my aunts and blew it up which caught his home on fire. THANKFULLY nobody was there because they had spent the night out of town with family doing the easter egg hunt with his 5 kids. And another THANKFULLY they had not moved all of their stuff back into the house yet (they were in the process of moving things back in) as they had remodeled the home and tried renting it and living in another home for a while but that turned out to not be the best option so they were moving back. So nobody was hurt and they didn't lose everything...THANK YOU GOD!!!! But it seems like it's been one tragedy or problem after another and to be totally honest with you guys...I am extemely worried about my brothers "mental" condition here. He has cried so much and the police don't know if somebody actually blew it up like my cousin next door "claims" to have seen as a car sped off or if lightening actually struck it and caught it on fire. The kids are all scared b/c they keep wondering if somebody is going to hunt them down and do this where they actually are living now....

On a last nostalgic note it was so sad to go over to the home that I watched my grandfather build with any little nail he could gather or scrap of wood he could find from somewhere. It wasn't the fanciest or prettiest of houses...but he did it himself from whatever he could find b/c he had no money... so sad to see it gone now.

Anyways...just needed to talk through it to my friends....thanks for listening to me!

I'm sorry to hear of your family's struggles, KT. I hope that things start looking up for everyone soon!!! It sure is a shame about the house given it's history but memories are wonderful things and at least no one can take that from your family.

OMG KT, how awful for your entire family. Thank God no on was home and Rizz is right, the memories of the house (and hopefully pictures) will always be with you all. (((hugs)))

My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family KT. I agree with everyone else, it's a shame to lose the house, but it's the family and the memories that you can't replace.

KT, so sorry to hear this. Sounds scary! Hope your family stays safe and sane.

Well finally after 5 long months and another house burning right down the road from my brothers (in the same fashion), the investigation is over and they are finally settling with him this week! PTL! In the meantime several weeks ago his wife has a wreck in their only vehicle and totals it and spends 2 days in the hospital over it....GOOD GOLLY MOSES I'm thinking!!!!

So now with 5 kids and hardly any money coming in during this loss of house, two cars and job layoff, he has not been able to pay for these items and his credit is shot to pieces. I just pray he is able to keep things on track for awhile in order to get his life back!

OMGoodness......how can so much bad happen to one family. I hope that some good luck befalls them soon. I just cannot imagine!
