Can anyone make a recommendation for a good jogging stroller? I have been looking at the BOB Revolution but they are pretty pricey. Are they worth the money?

I had 2 of the earlier models that the front wheel does not pivot. It was a pita. Make sure front wheel pivots.

I do not recall the brand of one that I sold one at a garage sale. The other is used for the beach due to the larger wheels (and non-turning front wheel). That one is a baby trend.

I bought a baby carrier that attached to the back of a bike like a trailer instead.

I had a Jeep Stroller. It was very nice, three wheels, the front wheel pivoted and you could lock it if you want to. The wheels were actually little tires. You had to check air pressure and add air if needed. The air pump came with the stroller and had a little storage place for it.

Not sure of price, maybe in the $300's, it was gift from my brother and his family when my first was born 7 years ago, but I don't think the new ones have had much change to them.

This might sound weird but I was looking for one as well....but to haul my little dog around in! The kind that pulled behind the bike looked better made, but the Jeep kind lcrew mentioned were also pretty good.

I think I have decided to go with the BOB Revolution SE model. I have not heard any thing bad about it. All the reviews online are good and I have read that it is good for taller people. I am hoping to snag one on ebay or craig's list so I don't have to pay full price.

I (grandma and grandpa) bought 1 new stroller and about 6 other from garage sales. All different shapes and sizes. The big ones will not fit on a subway so I got a smaller one for the subway (used twice). The jogging stroller works well on the beach (used 3 times had 2 sold one for $10 more that I paid at a gararge sale). The one I liked the best was the graco metro as it was full size but folded small. There have been 2 double strollers 1 front and back 1 side by side (yes I only have one kid.

I have the Joovy Zoom 360 and I LOVE it. My daughter did not like the Bob. She's tall and the hood was too close to her head. The Joovy is perfect and their customer service is outstanding.

My mother in law ended up buying us the BOB SE. I think she is hoping her son will use it. Can't wait until next spring to use it!

I would like them better if the jogging stroller did the jogging, gave me the benefit of jogging and let me and continue to stroll.

Maybe if you tried dog sled racing?

from what I have seen of dog sled racing I think that jogging with a stroller is somewhat less demanding.

I have been on a dog sled in alaska but not a race. It was a pretty good ride.

This weekend I was trying to think of ways to rig the stroller so I could jog with the dogs. I don't think there is a place to tie them to other than the handlebars.

I've seen people run with the dog's leash attached to some sort of belt. Not sure I would do that, but I have seen it.

That would be a killer when my 75 pound dog decides to stop and refuses to move on. We are working on that!
