Friday I had to make the decision to send my cat, Cupcake, across the Rainbow Bridge. She had just turned 17 and it was very difficult although she had kidney issues for the past three years. I felt guilty because I hadn't seen how badly she had gotten - and she had to tell me. Skittles (18 1/2 year old cat) is by herself again. Her health isn't good - kidney issues, liver issues, and thyroid issues. I reminded my husband that several years ago we had 4 dogs and 3 cats. Now we have 2 dogs and 1 cat. Getting quieter and quieter around the house.

Thanks guys. While she's better off it has been a tough year for us with my dad's issues, my mother's issues, and losing two pets.
