I just found out that my sister's significant other (Mark) has MRSA. He has been having pain for over a week and was on an antibiotic before they determined that. He was switched to a new antibiotic this afternoon and his doctor told him if he wasn't better by tomorrow evening to go to the ER. I'm very worried - and prayers or good thoughts would be greatly appreciated. His leg is extremely swollen and he's in a lot of pain.

Praying for him and your family. I have a lot of sympathy I just had kidney stone surgery yesterday, and anything like this can be very stressful! I hope the treatment begins to work.

Thank you! He was hospitalized over the weekend and was released yesterday afternoon. They operated on his knee on Saturday - cleaning out the infection, etc. He can go back to work (he works construction); however he's decided to stay home this week.
