The Department of the Treasury and the Federal Reserve Board today announced the release of a joint final rule to implement the Unlawful Internet Gambling Enforcement Act of 2006.

In the spirit of UIGEA and Regulation GG, what do you suppose are the odds that congress will pull the plug on this regulation under the Congressional Review Act? Or that one of the bills aimed at eviscerating UIGEA will get passed and signed by the lame duck congress and president? Are you betting that Barney Frank and others will pull the rug out from under this rule?
