Is it possible for a non-profit corporation to allow use of their name and federal ID # for someone to open an account here locally under that name and federal id #? We have someone who wants to open a checking account here locally and use the corporate name and their federal ID #. Wouldn't you have to get some type of written authorization from the non-profit corporation for the local entity that wants to open the account under their name and ID #?

You need to follow your normal CIP obtaining resolutions, etc. authorizing parties to open an account, naming signers, etc.
