Are we allowed to have a drawing for an iPad for anyone that opens up and uses online banking? My concern is that it is a drawing not available to everyone. Any help would be appreciated!

Thanks

I agree. If it's not open to any and everyone, you have a lottery situation, IMO.

1. YOu are limiting to current account holders
2. If you aren't a current account holder, you would have to open one in order to enter.

So, you need an alternate way to enter the drawing. A deposit box in each branch with entry forms should solve that problem. If you are "advertising" the contest, include instructions on how to enter. If you are only mailing to customers, then a sign and entry forms in each branch should suffice.

You are not required to adversise on the front page of the local paper or on local radio or television.

I am in the process of preparing this kind of contest myself. While I understand the lottery issues, what about Apple's copyright/trademark issues? Are we allowed to use the words :Apple: or :iPad: or images of the item in our marketing?
