I have an account verification from a local housing authority. The person they are inquiring about (and who signed the release) is only an authorized signor on a savings account. The customer has no ownership of the funds in the savings account, but how much information can I give to the housing authority? I feel it wouldn't be proper to give out the account information they are asking for with just authorization from a signor on the account.

You would respond that your records do not indicate that they own an account at your bank.
