We have an old CD in the books that has been renewing for a long time (not dormant). The CD belongs to a corporation in Kansas, we are located in Texas. The CD was opened so long ago that there were no signatures on the CD of who can cash it.

We have been contacted by someone from the corporation and they are wanting to cash the CD. What all do we need to have in order to cash the CD. We are asking for the articles of incorporation but is that enough?

Help please...

I would want a corporate resolution stating who is authorized to cash the CD.
